Denpasar City is a city on the island of Bali and at once became the capital Province Bali , Indonesia .

History
Denpasar name can mean new markets, before the region was part of the Badung kingdom , an empire that had stood since the 19th century, before the kingdom defeated by the Netherlands on September 20, 1906, in an event known as the heroic War of Puputan Badung.

Geography
