Tirtagangga Park is one of the attractions that are located in the Village Ababi, Kecamatan Abang. The distance is about 5 km to the north of the City Amlapura. Tirtagangga Park was built in 1948 by King Anglurah Agung Ketut Karangasem.
Before construction, the park is a large area of springs, and the public to call with embukan, meaning spring. The spring is enabled by the inhabitants of surrounding villages as a place to look for drinking water and place pesiraman or purification Betara Ida (the gods). Therefore, the springs were sacred by the locals. From this spring and then the King of Karangasem got the idea to build a park especially because of its natural supported by the cool air, which later was named Park Tirtagangga. Just as with Tama Soekasada tip, then the Garden Tirtagangga have a strong attachment to the Puri Agung Karangasem.
In the park area there are several large ponds Tirtagangga which functioned as a fish pond and baths.
